The world and it’s myriad inhabitants tremble - inside and out. Long before dangers of any mortal kind even hit the shores the population is scarred. Nightmares of the utmost abhorrence infect the minds of all. Decadence, degeneracy, and derangement of a sort never seen before spreads throughout mankind like a finely tuned virus. A lullaby of murder, suicide, and psychosis rings throughout the lands of the earth.

“…someday the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.”
